Gill's praise for frontman Cooke as he bring up 50 for Bath City
Boss Jerry Gill heaped praise on half century-maker Cody Cooke – as he brought up 50 goals in Bath City colours.
The clinical frontman netted the winner as the Romans sealed all three points in National League South, with a 1-0 victory at Weston-super-Mare last time out.
Cooke arrived at Twerton Park in June 2021, following his release from Weymouth.

The former Truro City and St Mirren striker has gone on to bring up his 50 goals in 98 appearances for Gill’s side.
“His goal was a wonderful striker’s finish,” the manager told Bath City’s official Youtube channel, following his side’s success against the Seagulls.
“I think that’s a goal every two-and-a-half games or something – wonderful record that is.
“We knew he would be that for us. Hopefully he gets on a nice little run.”
Bath are now ninth in the National South table, having picked up 44 points from 28 games played. They host 22nd-placed Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.
