Missing Scotland's clash against last year's Six Nations winners Ireland, Denton will also be unavailable for Bath Rugby selection, for Friday's looming Aviva Premiership clash against Newcastle Falcons.
Denton's injury, sustained on the eve of Scotland's Rome clash with Italy, spells a premature end to his 2016 Six Nations campaign. The race to full fitness is now on for the 26-year-old to force his way straight back into Bath head coach Mike Ford's plans for the remainder of the Premiership campaign.
