Francois Louw confirmed to start for South Africa on Saturday

Bath Rugby's Francois Louw will earn his 47th cap for his country when South Africa face Argentina on Saturday.

Louw, 31, will be at openside flanker for the Springboks in their first game of the fifth annual Rugby Championship in Nelspruit.

It will, as ever, consist of South Africa, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand in venues around the southern hemisphere, however Argentina v Australia will be held at Twickenham, London.

South Africa coach Allister Coetzee is expecting big things from Argentina during the championships:

"Argentina are one of the leading rugby nations if you consider that they have reached the semi-finals of two Rugby World Cups (2015 and 2007).

"They are renowned for strong scrummaging and mauling, very good defensively and have developed an attacking style of play that will test our defence."

South Africa finished bottom of the 2015 World Championships, losing every match.
