MATCH REPORT: Bath City 1-1 Hampton and Richmond

Bath City were yet again left to rue a missed penalty as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Hampton and Richmond on Saturday.

Jack Batten did manage to find the back of the net though when he headed Bath into a 33rd-minute lead.

Billy Murphy's corner was expertly delivered in and Batten was there to power Bath in front at 1-0 before the half-time break.

Nicke Kabamba got Hampton and Richmond on the scoresheet in the 78th minute but there was still time for a golden Bath opportunity, that came and went.

Marvin Morgan was the man fouled in the box as he was dragged down by a Hampton and Richmond defender but Frankie Artus could not convert from the spot.

Artus hit his penalty straight at the keeper, who pushed the effort out, but only as far as Artus again although he could only head the rebound over the bar and Bath had to settle for a point.
