MATCH REPORT: Bath City 4-0 Truro City

Bath City cruised to a 4-0 win over Truro City on Saturday for their third straight win.

City broke the deadlock via the penalty spot in the 32nd minute after Truro defender Arron Pugh handled in the area.

Axel Andresson dispatched the resulting spot-kick to give the Romans the lead at 1-0, which is how the score stayed until late on.

Truro were awarded a penalty of their own in the 73rd minute but, unlike Bath, they could not capitalise on their chance from the spot as goalkeeper Max O'Leary kept it out.

With ten minutes to go Bath finally found the second goal to give them a safety cushion as Billy Murphy's effort from 25 yards found its way past the Truro goalkeeper.

Five minutes from time Andy Watkins settled the game at 3-0 after he played a one-two with strike partner Nick McCootie and found the back of the net.

Watkins added a second for himself in stoppage time with an arrowed shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
