MATCH REPORT: Dartford 2-0 Bath City
Bath City lost their third game on the spin on Saturday as they were on the wrong side of a 2-0 scoreline, at Dartford.
City were the better side for lengthy spells at Princes Park, but promotion-chasing Dartford showed why they ar near the top of the table as they had the clinical edge needed to get the win.
Elliot Bradbrook notched a first-half penalty to give Kent-based club Dartford the lead, in the 24th minute, as his spot kick was blasted into the roof of the net, giving goalkeeper Max O'Leary, who has a pretty nifty penalty-saving record this season, no chance in the Bath goal
Bath came close a number of times, including a well-taken free-kick that was saved by the Dartford keeper, but the hosts had too much for their counterparts and extended their lead in the second half.
Dartford's second came after a nicely-worked move that was finished off by Duane Ofori-Acheampong nodded in a cross floated in from the right-hand side.
The defeat all-but ends Bath hopes of a late play-off charge, as the Romans are now in the bottom half of the Vanarama South table.
