MATCH REPORT: Eastbourne Borough 1-2 Bath City

Despite being reduced to 10 men, Bath City came away with a 2-1 win at Eastbourne Borough.

The two played out a first half without a goal on Eastbourne's 3G pitch on Saturday but three goals, and a red card, came in the second period.

Shane McCoulsky broke the deadlock on the 52-minute mark with an impressive header shortly before the lead was doubled with an own goal.

Hobson turned into his own net 25 minutes from time following Nick McCootie's cross to give Bath some breathing space, and it ended up being needed, too.

As the game edged towards its finale George Rigg was shown a straight red card for a last-man foul on Eastbourne's Connolly.

The extra man did not lead to Eastbourne taking any points off of Bath but the Sports did get a goal back.

Miguel Baptista hit a brilliant free-kick into the back of the Bath goal which gave the home fans something to cheer about it, but it was only that and Bath held on for the win.
