MATCH REPORT: St Albans 1-4 Bath City

Bath City came away with a resounding 4-1 win at St Albans on Saturday.

Marvin Morgan put the Romans into a 1-0 lead as early as the fourth minute when he took a left-sided cross in his stride and struck a half volley into the far corner, giving the opposition keeper no chance.

Nick McCootie doubled the advantage of the away side with 22 minutes played when he intelligently lobbed the St Albans stopper.

Shane McCoulsky made it three for the Black and White on the hour mark when he capitalised on a defensive error to make the game safe.

Walker restored some pride for St.Albans by making it 3-1 in the 63rd minute which did not look as though it would give them a chance although they would have been back in game if it wasn't for Max O'Leary.

For the third time this season the ever-impressive O'Leary made a stunning save from a penalty and St.Albans were then resigned to the fact they would be losing the match.

With one minute to go, Andy Watkins completed the scoring to earn Bath the 4-1 win.
