No place in the England Squad for Semesa Rokoduguni

Bath Rugby's flying winger Semesa Rokoduguni has not been included in Eddie Jone's international plans for England's upcoming tour against old rivals Australia.

Rokoduguni, who has been in scintillating form this season, was widely expected to catch the attention of the coaching staff with the Red Rose and force his way into the international set up.

But after recently naming his squad to take down under, Eddie Jones has opted not to include Rokoduguni on the long haul flight.

The Bath wing, who recently cleared up with the major honours at the club's end of season awards evening, has scored 12 tries during the 2015/16 campaign, and was a shining light in Bath's otherwise cloudy season.

Bath's back trio of George Ford, Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson have each reserved their seat on the plane journey down under, while Dave Attwood has been selected as part of the 26-man England squad for the Old Mutual Wealth Cup against Wales.

Rugby fans and professional players alike were quick to discuss the omission of 'Rocco' on social media platform Twitter, with Bath Rugby's Dan Bowden beginning by offering his confusion.
