Video: Grandparents of Siobhan Marie O'Connor overjoyed at Olympic silver

Olympic swimmer Siobhan Marie O'Connor became the pride of Bath in the early hours of the morning, after she scooped an incredible silver medal finish in the 200m individual medley.

The stage was set in Rio for the Bath born swimmer to become the latest Team GB star to add to the nation's medal haul.

Pushing herself to the limit, the Team Bath scholar realised her Olympic dream, pipped to gold only by Hungary's Katinka Hosszu, who has been in inspired form throughout.

Still out of breath from the miraculous achievement, O'Connor declared it "the best feeling in the world."

It wasn't just the city of Bath who were rooting for the young star - back at home her grandparents were watching on with bated breath and wracked with nerves. 

After seeing their granddaughter become a medal winning Olympian, the two spoke live on air on morning television show 'Good Morning Britain'.
