At long last Bath Rugby got back to winning ways on Saturday, as they returned from Worcester victorious. Mike Ford's men, without the help of their Six Nations stars, pulled back an early deficit to see out the tie 16-14 and register their first league points since December.

Despite going behind to an early Worcester try, the Blue, Black and White battled valiantly to remain in contention throughout the tie.

The breakthrough moment arrived for the Somerset club when Jonathan Evans' clever kick was won athletically by winger Semesa Rokoduguni, who retained possession before playing Evans through for Bath's opening try.

The tides would then turn as Mike Ford's side began to press on for the win they both desperately needed and craved.

Helped by a series of wayward kicks and spurned opportunities by Worcester in the second half, Bath managed to grind out the encounter and see the points safely back to Somerset.
