The Gainsborough Bath Spa, originally constructed in the 1800s, occupies two Grade II Listed buildings featuring distinguished Georgian and Victorian façades. Located in the heart of the World Heritage Site, this luxury hotel, named after artist Sir Thomas Gainsborough, uniquely boasts exclusive access to natural thermal, mineral-rich waters.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa is YTL’s first hotel in the United Kingdom. Designed by New York-based Champalimaud Design, the hotel pays homage to its vibrant history, offering a welcoming, elegant, and social atmosphere. This modern interpretation of classic design aims to provide a meaningful and enduring contribution to the life of the city.

Designed by the award-winning Champalimaud Design, the rooms and suites at The Gainsborough Bath Spa are custom furnished, subtly blending period details with contemporary forms and including all the functional elements discerning travelers expect. They feature standard five-star amenities, including luxurious bedding, generous wardrobes, cordless phones, and full blackout window coverings. Each room and suite also boasts a flat-screen HD television, Roberts radio with Bluetooth connectivity, and complimentary WiFi.
