Bath Rugby Foundation Selling Gifts at Bath Christmas Market
Bath Rugby Foundation will be selling Christmas gifts and stocking fillers on the last day of the city’s annual Christmas Market this weekend.
The market closes on Sunday and the Foundation will be offering rugby fans the chance to get hold of some extra special gifts, ranging from stocking fillers to the amazing presents supporters will want show off well into 2019 and beyond.
We asked the Bath Rugby playing squad to help out by donating some of their own rugby kit and we have a stall full of shirts, shorts and socks, much of it worn by your favourite rugby players.
And it seems some players, Francois Louw and Paul Grant in particular, have been extra generous, emptying their cupboards to help us raise much-needed funds for our charity.
Kiwi back rower Grant has handed over a bag full of training shirts and t-shirts, perfect to put a smile on any Bath Rugby fan on the 25th.
And Springbok flanker Louw has donated a box full of kit he was given while on international duty this autumn, including the shorts he wore in test matches, a hoody, a tracksuit and training shirts.
Bath Rugby fans will also get the chance to win a first team European jersey, signed by Welsh Grand Slam winner, Rhys Priestland in our £1 raffle.
Bath Rugby Foundation’s Head of Fundraising, Halena Coury, said: “We’re so grateful to have been given the chance to raise money at the Christmas Market.
“Whether you are looking for a unique gift for a Bath Rugby or Springbok fan, or a few little stocking filler, we’ll have something for you on Sunday.
“We’d like to thank to Bath Rugby players for their support. We always get amazing support from the squad, whether it is player appearances at our programmes or donations to boost our fundraising.”
Foundation staff will be manning the stall, which is on Milsom Street, from 10am to 6pm.
The raffle to win the European shirt, signed by Priestland, will take place on Monday and the winning number will be shared on the Foundation’s website and social media accounts.
